WorkOne Northern Indiana BSR Team attends Young Professionals Luncheon

On May 26th, the Elkhart WorkOne Business Services Team, along with Executive Director of Operations Darcey Mitschelen, attend the Young Professionals Luncheon at E3 Robotics Center in Elkhart.

The E3 Robotics Center is Northern Indiana’s FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotic Center.

E3RC works with K-12 students, educating them on critical thinking and problem solving which is at the heart of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.)

Executive Director Brian Boehler gave a tour of the facility to show how the students progress through the curriculum.

Students start with LEGO robots and move to full scale competition against other robots from around the world.

All of the programing and functionality of the robot is done by the students.

WorkOne Northern Indiana will be assisting E3RC in gaining more student participation through our JAG and YOUTH programs.
