Promotions in the Region
We are excited to announce the promotion of Jessica Logan to Regional Employment & Training Advisor (ETA) Team Lead. She has demonstrated a mastery skill level in customer service, data entry, and with quality enrollments. Her understanding of the RESEA, WIOA, Rural Health Care Grant, and the Workforce Ready Grant programs will be extremely beneficial as we set out to reach our goals in this new program year. Jessica will be working closely with Gayle Williams, the Regional Program Manager, on innovative ways to best serve our customers.
Congratulate, Rebecca (Becky) Owens, as she has taken on additional responsibilities as a WorkOne Workshop Facilitator. She has been working alongside Robbin Nelson, conducting workshops in the South Bend and Elkhart offices, since June. Becky will continue to assist, when needed, with WIOA and RESEA. This new role has allowed her to tap into her creative side, while using her strong communication, and excellent planning skills. She will also be working with local community partners in the next year to promote our WorkOne services and workshops.
New Team Members in the Region
Elkhart WorkOne
Can't say enough good things about the addition of Yesenia Cervantes, Employment and Training Advisor in Elkhart. She joined the team at the start of June. Yesenia has already implemented a few new processes to assist her team in the day-to-day operations of the office. She brings with her 5 years' experience working for a local staffing service, as well as in retail management. We are very impressed with her strong customer service and case management skills.
